As discussed please can you agree an extension of time to the
above application up to 15/10/2017. The application is no longer going to the
Planning Committee as councillors are convinced that with a s106 in place the
outbuilding will not be used as a separate dwelling. Thanks

Dear Ian
Following consultation with the Council’s legal department, a
section 106 legal agreement would be required to ensure that the proposed
outbuilding that has its own separate access could not be converted/used as an
independent dwelling. Therefore, the recommendation to the planning committee
would be to grant planning permission subject to signing of the s106 legal
agreement. Please confirm if you are willing to enter into this s106 agreement
so that I can instruct the Council’s solicitor to draft the agreement. There is
a legal fee of £850 for the s106 and a monitoring fee of £400 (Total £1250).
You will need to submit a land registry certificate with a plan
and any mortgagee details on your property.

This is an
EXTERNAL EMAIL. STOP. THINK before you CLICK links or OPEN attachments.
Robin,
Just had a call back from Ralph. His original position was that
members had a called the application (as it was before it was amended) in for
consideration at committee. He is waiting for a reply from members having put
the revised proposals to them asking them in the light of the alterations to
the scheme if they still want it to go to committee. If they do still want it
to go before the committee then the meeting would be on 11 October 2017.
I would be surprised given how minor the proposals are, that they would
still wish to go with their original course of action but given who they are,
one can never tell.
Kind Regards
Ian
